                                              Class Registration and Policies

In Good Taste cooking classes include a full meal, recipes, and a tasting of wines selected to complement the food, unless otherwise indicated. Wine classes feature a wine tasting only unless otherwise indicated.

Menus may have to be altered due to the seasonal availability of ingredients. In Good Taste reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a class due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, or to change the instructor due to unforeseen circumstances. Demonstration classes and wine classes are about three hours long, hands-on classes will run about an hour longer. Some menus feature first courses that require more lengthy preparation, and may not be served until an hour or more after class begins. Portions are ample and - unless otherwise indicated - you will not need to eat a meal after your cooking class. Class seating is on a first come, first served, basis. Please note the starting time of your class, since starting times vary and classes begin promptly.

For hands-on classes, please bring an apron and - for your safety in the kitchen - please wear closed-toe, low-heeled, rubber-soled shoes.

                                              Bad Weather Policy
If there is bad weather, we will make a determination to cancel class no later than 2 hours prior to a class and will make every attempt to notify you by phone at the phone number you provided us upon registration. If we are not able to speak with you in person, we will leave a message. We encourage you to call us or email us if in doubt. Unless you hear from us at the phone number provided to us at registration, the class will be held. (Note: It is important to provide us with accurate contact phone numbers and email addresses when you register). We are concerned for everyone’s safety and will only decide to hold a class if we determine that the roads are safe. As long as the instructor and class assistants can make it to the school the class will be held. There are no refunds, credits, transfers or exchanges because of bad weather providing the school is open with class running. Plan to leave home early, and please travel carefully. Any classes that are canceled will be rescheduled or you will be given a full refund.
